today
Hi Parents,
Today we had a busy day. Miss Waskow started teaching whole group reading. We had our Unit 3 week 5 spelling and reading tests. We learned about division and reviewed parts of narrative and informational writing! Whew!
We're keeping our fingers crossed and hoping we can make it through the whole week without any delays or cancellations.
Tomorrow we'll review our Unit 6 math concepts and have a test on those skills on Wednesday.
We will have an assembly on Friday morning and a guidance lesson Friday afternoon. In addition, we'll have our Unit 3 reading test. Remember, no spelling test this week. Also we'll celebrate Groundhog's Day on Friday with a fun activity.
I think that's it for now! Let me know if you have any questions. Thankyou.

We started cursive today!! Everyone is very excited! We will continue through the alphabet.

Change of Schedule
Wow!! This weather has been crazy! Due to the snow day and the 2 hour delay today we'll have to make a few changes in our schedule.
First off, we will move our weekly spelling and reading tests to Monday, Jan. 27th. We'll also begin our unit review next Monday. We'll review Unit 3 Reading skills for the rest of the week, ending the week with our Unit 3 Reading test next Friday. There will not be any new spelling words next week. In addition, we'll have our Unit 6 math test on Wed., Jan29th. I hope that helps with any confusion you may have.
* One caveat- this schedule will only work if we don't have any more snow days or delays in the next week. We can keep our fingers crossed! :-/
